Personalizing a Porsche is nothing new and, with tuning kits from TechArt and Mansory, anyone is able to customize their luxury sportscar to their heart’s desire. Now, Porsche has added yet another option for making the Panamera as individualized as the owner himself. Porsche has announced that starting September, customers will be able to choose a new Individualization Program for the Panamera Turbo. The program includes a new Powerkit that increases the engine’s output to 540 HP (up from the standard 500HP) and a new Sport Design Package.
The Powerkit consists of two new turbochargers with titanium aluminum turbine wheels. The new kit, with Sport Plus mode, will sprint your car from 0 to 60 mph in 3.9 seconds and will rocket the car to a top speed of 189 mph. However, that added speed will set you back $21,730.
The Sport Design Package will be available starting October and includes a unique, exterior color painted front end with widened black air intake grilles, separate side skirts, and the standard, exterior color painted rear underbody apron with diffuser and fins. This package is definitely the cheaper, but less entertaining choice at $4,590. Porsche is also offering a set of 20" light alloy multi-spoke wheels, available in silver metallic, black, or in the car color for a bargain price of $1,390.
Is this the most entertaining and money-worthy package available for the Porsche Panamera Turbo? We certainly don’t think so, but if the Porsche owner wants a slight change instead of the high-powered, aesthetically pleasing kits provided by the tuning firms mentioned earlier, then this is the deal for them.
