The Audi Quattro was the first rally car to take advantage of the then-recently changed rules which allowed the use of four-wheel drive in competition racing. It won competition after competition for the next two years. To commemorate the success of the original vehicle, all subsequent Audis with their trademark quattro four wheel drive system were badged "quattro" with a lower case "q". The original car with the upper case "Q" in the Quattro name is a collector's piece.

The Audi Quattro shared many components and the core of its body style with the Audi Coupé, which was a member of the Audi 80 (B2) model range. It was internally designated Typ 85, a type number it shared with the Audi Coupé GT, Audi Coupé quattro and Audi 4000CS quattro. Its characteristic flared wheelarches were styled by Martin Smith. Audi Quattro had independent rear suspension and independent front suspension.

McLaren have finally come out of their shells to produce an orange super car. It was launched at their Woking base development centre using two of the biggest names in Formula One namely Jensen Button and Lewis Hamilton.

On to the car it is quite the powerful little guy with a mid-mounted turbocharged 3.8 L V8 which pumps out an impressive 600 HP. The engine was specifically designed for the McLaren supercar and has some green statistics to go along with lots of other of its statistics.

0-60mph takes only a mere three seconds and top speed of this orange wonder brushes 200mph. There are different driving programs installed dependent on how the car is driven. The programs range from normal day-to-day use through to quick changes for sport.

As you can expect the price of this car is going to be a bit out of reach for the average Joe and comes in at a cool £160,000. Every single part of the McLaren is unique and it's a British supercar built from the ground up which means McLaren can call this piece of art wholly thiers.
